At a glance: I-tip extensions run $400 to $2,400, Genius Weft (hand-tied) extensions run $750 to $2,200, and maintenance is $125 to $225 every 6 to 10 weeks. Hair, installation, shipping, and supplies are all included.
Hair extension pricing shouldn’t feel like a mystery. I offer I-tip and Genius Weft extensions with straightforward pricing based on the length and amount of hair you actually need—whether that’s a little targeted volume or a full transformation.
The prices below include the extension hair and initial installation, along with normal shipping, fees, and standard installation supplies. Your exact price is confirmed during your complimentary consultation before any hair is ordered.

Genius Weft & Beaded-Row Extension Pricing
Many clients know this general method as hand-tied extensions. I use Genius Wefts, a newer ultra-thin, lightweight weft that can be cut and customized without unraveling. The hair is sewn onto a customized beaded row for a secure, comfortable, natural-looking result.

Hair and initial installation are included. The number of rows and wefts will be determined based on what creates the safest, most natural-looking result for your hair.
Not Sure How Much Hair You Need?
That’s completely normal. Some clients need only a small amount for targeted fullness, while others want a full length and volume transformation.
Your complimentary consultation includes a color match and a personalized plan based on your hair, goals, lifestyle, and budget. You’ll receive your exact price before any hair is ordered—no surprise add-ons later.
Extension consultations are available in Centennial/DTC.
Extension Maintenance Pricing
Maintenance is separate from the initial installation price. Most clients return every 6–10 weeks, depending on their hair growth, method, and home care.
I-Tip Maintenance
• Half head — $125
• Full head — $225
Genius Weft Maintenance
• 1 row — $125

We’ll choose a maintenance schedule that keeps your extensions comfortable, secure, and healthy for your natural hair.
Hair Extension Pricing FAQ
How much do hair extensions cost in Denver area?
At Sarah Caston Hair, I-tip extensions run $400 to $2,400 and Genius Weft (hand-tied) extensions run $750 to $2,200, with the hair and initial installation included. Maintenance is $125 to $225 every 6 to 10 weeks. You get an exact quote at your complimentary consultation before any hair is ordered.
What affects the price of hair extensions?
Three things: how much hair you need (measured in grams), the length (18–20” or 22–24”), and the method (I-tip or Genius Weft). Targeted volume for fine or thinning hair usually needs 25 to 50 grams, while a full length-and-volume transformation can need 120 to 150 grams or more. Your natural hair density and color matter too, since a custom color match sometimes takes more than one shade.
Are there extra fees on top of the listed price?
No. The prices above include the extension hair, the initial installation, shipping, and standard installation supplies. The only separate cost is maintenance, listed above. That is a real difference from many Denver salon quotes, where the hair, the install, and supplies are billed as separate line items.
What is the difference between I-tip and Genius Weft extensions?
I-tip extensions are installed strand by strand in small sections, so I can customize the amount of hair without you buying more than you need, which is great for targeted volume or length. Genius Wefts (what many people call hand-tied extensions) are ultra-thin, lightweight wefts sewn onto a custom beaded row, which gives a natural, comfortable result with fewer individual attachment points.
How often do hair extensions need maintenance?
Most clients come in every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on hair growth, the method used, and home care. Maintenance is priced separately from the initial install: I-tip maintenance is $125 (half head) to $225 (full head), and Genius Weft maintenance is $125 (1 row) to $225 (2 rows).
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, and it is complimentary. I look at your hair density, do a color match, recommend a method and amount of hair, and give you an exact price. Consultations are available in Centennial/DTC.
